Accredited Certification Bodies

ICSC accredits third-party organisations to carry out assessments and issue certifications under the ICSC framework. These Accredited Certification Bodies (CBs) are independently assessed by ICSC and authorised to deliver ISO-aligned certifications, CPD, PCAF, company assessments, and other ICSC-approved programmes.

“ICSC-accredited” refers to ICSC's own private accreditation scheme — it is not UKAS accreditation, ISO accreditation, or a government-recognised national accreditation.

How ICSC Accreditation Works

ICSC operates its own private accreditation scheme, setting the frameworks, standards, and quality requirements against which certification bodies are assessed. Accredited CBs are third-party organisations that have been independently evaluated by ICSC and authorised to carry out assessments and issue ICSC-framework certifications on behalf of the individuals and organisations they serve. This is separate from, and not equivalent to, accreditation by UKAS or any national accreditation authority.

Certificates issued by ICSC-accredited bodies are registered within the ICSC verification system and carry a unique identifier and QR code, enabling instant verification of authenticity and status.
